Suri

An engineer who became a designer, Piyush has over 20 years of experience in the craft and design industry in the UK, India, and Europe. He received his master’s degree in textiles from the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. He was the co-founder and creative director of Akin & Suri in London, UK (2008 - 2016), a brand known for its geometric patterns inspired by different cultures. Piyush has also designed patterns for many brands, such as Crate & Barrel, CAROCIM, and Penates, to name just a few. He loves clean lines, geometric shapes, and unusual colour combinations. 

Piyush is also the founder and director of Handmade in Britain, which puts on craft fairs and an online market to support and promote British craftsmanship.
